You are a miracle. When you think about the complicated birth process, how every human being comes into this earth, you have to know your life matters; however, it's easy for us to get caught up in the motions of our every day life, leaving us looking back months, years, and sometimes even decades later wondering why we're here on earth. In those moments it's easy to question if we've truly made an impact on the world. And this feeling comes because it's ingrained in us to do something great in our lives. It's a feeling that comes because God designed us each with a specific purpose. So no matter how insignificant you may feel, remember you are on earth for a reason. Don't let the frustration of feeling lost get in the way of your life-long journey of discovering what God's purpose is for your life.
The starting point for all of us is to first understand that we are God's creation and He loves us. In fact, you can’t change that about God. He is love. He decided to love you whether you realize it or not or whether you think you deserve it or not! He created you because He loves you!
Next, because He loves you, He has great plans for you. He has been working on those plans even before you took your first step as a child. His word tells us that before you were born He knew you and consecrated you (Jeremiah 1:5). His plan is specifically designed for you. It's a plan to give you a hope and a prosperous future (Jeremiah 29:11). You are the only one who can accomplish the plan He has for you because there is only one you in existence. No matter how mundane you may be feeling right now, no matter how bored you are with your life, no matter how weighed down you may be feeling with life’s concerns, please understand your life really matters!
See yourself like an artist’s canvas. God is the master artist painting the full expression of who He is and the plans He has for you on your canvas. It's filled with beautiful colors and a creative destiny. He wants to touch the world through your canvas. He wants to express Himself through you. The world is actually robbed of His full expression when we don’t walk in the plans He has for us.
God Loves you. Embrace it. You can’t do anything to change it. Don’t let another day go by without knowing how much your life matters!
